Over one week and counting

Still no eyes or ears. Lot’s of squeaks, squawks, and general  baby noises. It’s amazing how so many species sound alike, including human babies!

Spent the afternoon judging rally. I don’t enjoy trialing anymore, and probably really did retire, but I love watching and judging rally. The days of 100 dogs for an entry is probably over, but I like the smaller classes. And such a variety of dog! Shiba’s and colored Schips, and Rat Terriers oh my 🙂 If anyone knows how to get the photo’s to NOT leave a huge white gutter…I’d love to hear it!

And of course, the gardens….

The Expen surrounds the tomatoes…that won’t last for long. Sigh

So that's how it's done: Front of house

  1. cool photos of the pups and your yard. how do you keep the lawn from growing really tall? We have grasses and weeds in California that just keep on growing!!!!

  2. LOL. Um, drought, no fertilizer, and cut really short. If you don’t want weeds, fertilize the heck out of it. But then you have to mow. If you want the grass stilted, don’t fertilize. You can’t see that the ‘grass’ is actually dandilions. But, they have nice deep roots, keep the dogs fairly mud free, and they’re green. Cameras make everything look good but me!
